Tabletops & Travel

Woo Hoo!

After a little longer than anticipated (ok, lots of life-getting-in-the-way longer; you know, summer :) ) and a ton of wonderful help from DS, I am up and typing. And, here, I just want to stop and again thank DS for his patience, advice, time and help. He has been absolutely terrific and though, I suspect, initially bewildered by my blog requests I now know that this was in fact the case! Oy vey!

Tinerate, soo excited!

I’m really looking forward to sharing with you all that I love in tabletops, travel and maybe, the occasional life musing. Mmm…thinking…thinking…I’m a Libra so not yet decided about that one.

Anyhoo, I have always fawned over a well dressed table, – formal fancy, casual chic, mismatched mayhem – all of it, and have an overwhelming desire to chronicle and share. For a long time I have wanted to do this, however, especially now as circumstances leave moi in the position of being a constant traveler (no complaints there!) and I am lucky enough to experience many brilliant creative ideas. Like this little street cafe table for two I stumbled upon  in Lucca, Italy…love the pop of the oversized flowers. So simple!

Table for Two Talking of travels…I’m no road warrior however seem to be on the move enough to meet some fabulous individuals with fascinating stories, some of which I have to tell…like sailing a yacht from Grenada to the South Pacific, corporate box escapades at Pebble Beach and taking photos of Princess Mary of Denmark (no names, I promise!)

And then there is just the stuff that leaves me pondering…you know, the life musings. Ruh-eelly important things like, “to jog or run today? And, “does anyone still use a landline?”  Mmm…Maybe. Maybe not. We’ll see. What do you think?

Anyhoo, I’m hoping that there might be a smidge of something for us all and that I may just be able to offer you ideas, inspiration or even a :)

I’ll be back each Tuesday and Thursday.

Till next time.

Tipsy Pipsy xo

PS. Here’s another tabletop I loved from Lucca…beaten hurricane lamp, draped hessian and freshly handpicked field flowers…less is more; high impact!

Simple Chic
