Spectacular Dinnerware

Today I’m obsessing about the practicalities of the table…what to eat and serve from!

It all started when I spent an indulgent hour flipping through famed design magazine, Architectural Digest, and came upon this…

Spectacular!!! The absolute perfect crockery for now; all prunes, pinks, oranges, bright, cheery. Here’s how AD magazine describes them…

Rimmed with gestural hand-painted brushstrokes, Site Corot’s  Artwork Limoges-porcelain dinnerware turns your tabletop into a lively abstract canvas.

So simple! So elegant!

Anyhoo…then yesterday, I’m breezing through Bloomies when I spied this fabulous flowery dinnerware by Villeroy Boch.

So screaming alfresco lunch with the girls don’t you think? If I was hosting, the one thing I would add would be a wine glass. Probably a stemless Riedel :)

And then, as luck would have it, I spotted this fabulous display just giddy with color. Wish I’d thought of inviting a flamingo and hanging a green tea pot from the ceiling! Tinerate, the ultimate setting for Afternoon Tea!

Mmm, now I’m not sure whether to do a dinner party or tea party.  Dilemma :)

Anyhoo, I do know I think I need to go tableware shopping!

Till next time.
