Now it is well documented what a fabulous oasis NYC is and, personally, I love it 24/7.
However, if I had to pick my least favourite month, I’d choose the dog days of August when humidity is high and the trash scent offensive. Yep, even in the swanky parts. Having said all that, I’m not saying I’m not to be found in the City at anytime!
Anyhoo, NYC is a walking city and right now it’s perfect for it. Whilst the air is still crisp it is no longer ‘brrr’ frigid and the wind has lost its bone-chilling whip. Which is why AP and I ended up meandering along Fifth Avenue and through the Village with all its historical brownstones enchantingly blooming to the season.
There is currently a celebratory vibe permeating the City. New Yorkers are done with winter and dark short days. Not that I ever see anyone working in them; however, (magically ) the gardens are primed…
The front stoop is prepped (amazingly BTW…Love love love the moss-like round planter on these stairs! Anyone know what it is???)
The blossom is beginning to burst into beautiful bud…
All this and then we stumble upon this with the magnificent windows…just all too pretty I had to share
Tinerate, captivatingly cheery, don’t you think?
Till next time.
