May madness (or is it supposed to be March when all is craziness???…not important…) is still well and truly in full swing in my little ‘ole universe. There is a nasty chilly nip in the air but the atmosphere is all leaf-dropping autumn and personally, I think Autumn is awesome!

That is of course when it is with clear blue skies, loads of sunshine and not a breath of wind. Not a huge wish list I know

Then why is it soo cold! Soo wet! And just soo plain old dreary that I think I need to have a party to try and coax that brilliant ball of yellow out from behind its blanket of grey clouds. Oy Vey!

(Tinerate, any excuse for a celebration right )

On the upside, conditions outside give a brilliant excuse to enjoy an atmosphere of comfort inspired traditional creamed soups, hearty red wines, wood burning fire warmth and divinely decorated root vegetable based tables (all with lots of chocolate please )

…And a hint of holiday…
