Fairytale Fantasy

With the arrival of PM – and that would be Pippa Middleton not the Prime Minister – on our sunny Sydney shores (actually, not so sunny at the minute but please allow the poetic license :) ) I have the perfect excuse to share my fanlovin’ crush of all things royal.

I am completely obsessed with all things Royal. Wait! Make that HRH and then skip to the young mob. Pretty disinterested in the extended family and, to date, only a passing fascination with current heir Charles and his bride Camilla.

And even though Pippa Middleton is not of direct line to the Windsor Clan, she is royal by association which is completely enough to have this little groupie tripping over herself in a whole-hearted immersion into the fascination of her recent nuptials.

I have been completely obsessing over the fantastical fairyland world she created with the use of cherry blossom tree centrepieces, green foliage and lorry loads of pink and white roses. This space was a mystical wonderland of flowers and fantasy … a place where dreams came true :) … ornamented with chandeliers that dripped like diamonds against the magical fairytale background. In short, the happy couples “Enchanted Forest.”

And I decided I wanted to see if it was possible to create the same ambience without the squllion dollar price tag (always love a first world challenge :) )

So what do you think? Is it possible to create the same wonderland feel or do we need that billionaire budget?

Till next time.

    • With your eye you would make any space look fabulous and, yes, have to agree, the forest is just too dreamy :)
