I am speechless…a biggie for me…It is only three days – yes, three – till Easter!!!
Don’t know how it snuck up on me like it has…Well, actually, yes I do but tinerate, here it is. And here I am, blissfully oblivious to the fast approaching four day holiday and swimming along in uncharacteristic chaos. Oy Vey!
Easter is a vey big deal for me and normally I would be pre-planned from ages ago. Hot cross buns would be ordered for Friday Brunch. (and several already taste-tested!) The Easter egg hunt would be mapped in the garden, red wrapper against red petal and the green against a leaf or blade of grass…with a back up indoor strategy in case of rain. The Haigh’s colossal chocolate egg bought for the traditional family egg toss (more on that later) and the purple Easter Bunny blown up welcoming guests at the front door.
And, as I am akin to do 
I would have spent hours on planning the Easter lunch table top.
Of course, I haven’t done any of that this year however…
If I was in the mood for frolicking fun…
Mmm, then again I might want something a little more grown up…
But I would probably have settled for something simple and casually stylish…
