I’m thinking color today. And not just your average splash of flash.

I’ve got sparkling sapphire blues, neon yellows, heritage greens, fire-engine reds and bold purples going on. I’m not sure why. Maybe because the weather is grey, misty and raining???

Anyhoo, I guess if I was Jane Austin or out of the old movie, Wuthering Heights, where the landscape is all damp British moor, I wouldn’t care what was going on outside my window and consequently not driven to distraction.

Howeeeever, I’m not! So I do!

My mind is thinking spring shopping: when whole stores are ablaze with glorious random color. Aquatic aquas, citrus orange and even wonderful whites! I found this dress by Karen Millen but it ended up looking much better on the mannequin than me. Oy vey!

I also can’t stop thinking of a store window I saw from the back seat of a cab.

It just made me smile. Hey, I’m smiling now It’s funny how color can do that to you. I guess I’m drawn to it without even realising it. It’s a feel good thing. Even in Winter, I know I’m smiliest on days when the snow clad mountains sparkle brilliantly in the sunlight (against a backdrop of blue sky, of course!)
