I have always really loved the Change of Seasons and the promise that the new one brings. Especially this time of year…yes, this particular crossover, no matter where in the world one is. You see, in my mind, (and this is only my little ‘ole opinion ) I feel that the Spring and Fall are both about rebirth and new beginnings. Blossoming buds in the lead up to the warmer months and the shedding of old debris in the welcoming of the the cold. Both about growth and change!

Anyhoo, I have currently been trekking back and forth between hemispheres (more on that later) but right now I am about to welcome in Spring and even though it is still a few weeks away, I could not help but begin to think color. More specifically, dazzling splish splash candy cane table color!

Stunning right! Tinerate, I was immediately reminded of the sitting room in the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Tremezzo, Lake Como, Italy, I stumbled upon last year. Here’s what they did with the lounge chairs. Soo brilliantly simple!

Anyhoo, Whilst I love a rainbow of brilliant brights, I am very partial to a splash of pink (you ought to see my itsy bitsy space I call an apartment in NYC!) and was instantly drawn to these fab…very simple…artistic ideas to brighten any Spring event. Pink is so cheery don’t you think? A bit like a big smiley face
