In this world of uncertainty, there is nothing better than a bit of frivolous fun and I have to say, it’s been nothing short of a really fun few days here in Adelaide with the annual fashion festival strutting through town in all its glory.
Suffice to say that whilst not on the same tier as the New York City fashion week or Milan, London and most definitely not Paris, for a home grown product – you know what – it didn’t do half bad.
With an assortment of different events, venues and functions to choose from, the fashionista were certainly not left for wanting …
…and I was lucky enough to score a ticket to the Mercedes Benz Long Lunch last Friday which was held on one of the main fashion drags in the city: King William Road.
Perched right outside the Adelaide mainstay, Denim Inequity (known for dressing many of the ‘in’ crowd of the city) my table was in prime real estate for watching not only the runway gals, but the crowd as well
Now, just in case you have missed this snippet about me in the past, I am a great people watcher, so LR and I were in our complete element just simply watching …
watching …
and watching some more …
Some brilliant. A few (in my humble opinion) shrieked for some Tipys tips but you’ll be pleased to know I refrained And the majority just relaxed and carefree (Mm, maybe something to do with drinking champagne in the sun … mystery to me
)
Anyhoo, loads of fashion, fun and friends and all on a Friday. Loved it!
Till next time.
