Here I’ve been, rabbiting on about Easter and then I bump into my very good friend SG (and long time reality checker) who has just reminded me that it is Passover and, ‘why haven’t I yet posted The Seder Table?‘ Umm…Nope. No explanation.

Actually, I honestly don’t know where my head was at, especially as I have annually made a point of watching The Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston. Love that movie! Even if I have to record it and watch it over three nights; the acting is soo TCM that I pause and absorb, rewind and watch all over again. Just so much going on with the theatrics and it all needs to be taken in. Tinerate, pretty sure there is not too much of the Method happening; however, I still find it completely entertaining. And that, I guess is why it is a Classic. That and because it is a jolly good story. Oh, and I also can’t get over Yul Brynner’s abs…absolutely no definition. Such a different era. Just to clarify…I’m not judging, merely observing and noting the difference in physique.

Wikipedia defines…
The Seder as a ritual performed involved retelling of the story of the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt.
Lori Lyn from Taste with the Eyes says…
The Passover Seder Table is not simply a place to tell the story of the Exodus and to eat dinner. The Table is symbolic in and of itself. It is a place where memories are made and traditions are taught. It is where we gather with family and friends, and perhaps strangers too, to celebrate our freedoms.

Till next time.
