Wandering through the Garden of Unearthly Delights last night with all its glow in the dark glam lighting got me wondering, for the first time ever, about neon as a table decoration.

Now, not the 70’s fluoro inspired kind of pop but a more contemporary take on the Feelin Groovy vibe of the time. You know, a little bit of smart sophistication instead of being a screaming showoff.

But still loads of fun and very clever. I love how these Ikea neon rods serve as centrepieces…

We wanted something that gave height, but we also wanted something that wasn’t breaking the bank…

And while talking smart ideas, how wonderful is this…budget white sheets splattered with glow in the dark paint and…WOW…a unique high impact tablecloth

And for those of us who can’t go all out shiny bright bold, I’m in love with this combination of neon and nature…

…very grown up but still fun
