Can you imagine not being able to sit outside at this time of the year? I know!!! How drolly standard

Think about it for a moment. No matter where or which hemisphere the weather, right at this very moment…in this very month…is supposed to be seductively moderating with the pant of summer in its wispy breath or seducement crisp at its edge whilst gearing up in readiness for the winter chill. Whatever, it is supposed to be in seduction mode and we all falling to its wily wants and ways!

Instead, on the other side of the equator, I hear that a roller coaster of freeze to thaw is in play, with the drenching slosh of rain a constant happening of the weather pattern.

If lucky enough to be in the southern part of the spinning axis of our world, not only are we getting an extended Indian cum Mexican cum Tropical Asia summer complete with asphalt melting heat and fry-the-egg-on-the-railway-lines temperatures, but its gone way beyond the comfortable to the extent of extreme.

Our solid stone houses that our ancestors so proudly built to combat the Australian burning sun have all heated to the degree of a slow baking oven.

Our cars are almost a hazardous cinder box with the steering wheel too hot to handle if not parked beneath some shade.

And our oceans are about as refreshing as diving into a still hot bath.

Is it climate change or just the 100 year adjustment that scientists banter on about???

I’m not sure what it is but I have to say as I lie here listening to the rain pattering down on my corrugated iron (colorbond ) roof, I’m liking the mishmash out-of-sync climate chaos!

What about you? Do you find the whole unpredictable forecast spectacularly enjoyable or do you just want the elements to get organised and follow the expected standard routine of the season???

Anyhoo, it is not the clime for dining on the deck!
